東京の公式アイコンTokyo Tokyoの「東京みやげ」に選定された、手ぬぐい「歌舞伎」と手ぬぐいを飾るアートフレームのセットです。

「アートフレーム」は特許商品でマグネット式の上下2本のフレームに挟んで吊るすだけで手ぬぐいを簡単に飾れタペストリーとして楽しめます。素材は黒のアクリル製で日本の漆器を想定して作られ、そこに刷り込んだアイコンは金蒔絵のようにも見え東京おみやげとして思い出の品となる事をイメージしています。アクリルの裏側には桜の蒔絵が施されています。

セットされている手ぬぐいは画家など作家による原画をもとに注染という伝統の技で熟練の職人が染めました。手染めによる鮮やかな染め色と粋な風合いが日本の文化を伝えます。

四季折々の絵てぬぐいを現代の暮らしの中でインテリアとして気軽に楽しめるようにという思いから生まれました。

【Tokyo Tokyo selected】ART FRAME & ART TENUGUI "KABUKI"

Selected as a "Tokyo souvenir" by Tokyo Tokyo's official icon, this product consists of a Kabuki tenugui with original art and a frame to display it.

The patented frame is simple to use. Just place the ends of the tenugui between each piece of the magnetic frame, and hang it up to display it as a tapestry. The black acrylic frame was designed to resemble Japanese lacquer ware, and embellished with patterns that look like gold lacquer—a perfect souvenir to remember Tokyo by. The opposite side features a cherry blossom lacquerwork design.

The tenugui that comes with the frames are dyed by skilled artisans with a traditional technique called chusen, and the images are based on Japanese paintings and other works of art. The vivid colors produced by the hand-dyeing and the refined design are a prime example of Japanese culture.

It was designed so that people can enjoy traditional tenugui with art that evokes the four seasons as home decor in their modern life.
